I used to collect comic books and baseball cards when I was younger. But now that I'm really poor, I don't have the money to collect anything.

I like collecting the so-so good coins you find in your pocket change.

Nope. I'm an avid thrower-awayer

Seriously, I cannot stand clutter, almost to the point of being neurotic about it. Or maybe I've crossed that line, I don't know. I throw everything away if there's no immediate use for it. I've even thrown away shampoos and soaps because it would take a long time to get to the point where I'd use them (extras, not the ones in the shower) and I couldn't stand knowing they were there for a second longer.

I'm EXACTLY the same way! I used to be the worlds biggest pack-rat and collected all sorts of things (mainly coins). One day a few years ago, however, I just kind of flipped out at all the clutter and purged everything that I didn't need anymore. I've been anti-clutter ever since and will not hang on to anything that I don't need/want/use anymore.

Yes indeed--- some of my collections include:
1. Boots. I love them, but mainly comfortable ones.
2. Wigs. Don't ask me why, I just like them in many colors.
3. Oldsmobile-related models/replicas/toys/photos and of course my real Oldsmobile itself.

I hear you, Kateyjane!! It is SO hard to maintain an interest in ANYTHING for very long! I collected mallard duck figurines for a while, then star charts and astronomy field guides, then on to NFL football cards, all of which fell by the wayside as quickly as they entered my life! Speaking of authors, have you read anything by Greg Iles? His books "Spandau Phoenix", "Mortal Fear", and "24 Hours" are AWESOME!! !! !! I guarentee if you read one of his books, you'll want to read ALL of them!! !! !!

Hey, CockneyRebel, what IS a Routemaster anyhow? I'm curious!

I hate to be a perfectionist, but I knew what a Routemaster was and someone misquoted me!

Okay, okay. You got me. Clothing. It's freakin lame-sounding, but I have to have it. I hate shopping, I loathe trying it on, I hate a lot of materials and how things feel when I wear them. Thus, I have this desire to own a collection of things that are safe and feel good. eBay has wrecked that for me a bit. Whenever I need cash, I sell the clothing, thus my closet does not currently reflect my collecting habits. But yeah, there is the clothing. And I feel a bit out of whack when the collection dwindles too much. Right now I'm actually below practical levels of shirts.

This is me.

Only consistently, over the years, each winter I begin with the Victorian Santa's and have enough to feel a little overwhelmed at Christmas

I collect Sega consoles and games. I've been focusing on the Megadrive and so far I have about 110 games for it. :)

Move on over, we will die of embarrassment together! I have a neverending collection of...ya, you guessed it....SHOES!

WHY THE HELL???! ! I hate socks and even worse, shoes! They are stifling and a major sensory issue for me, but if I find comfort, I want lots of it!
