I have a high pain threshold for thermal pain. Burns don't hurt me very much at all. I think my pain threshold is probably normal for other types of pain.

I've a pretty high threshold if I know where the pain's coming from (e.g. self-inflicted or from a karate punch) - it's unknown sources that bother me (like cramps or a headache)

My very NT mother (I love her, but you know . . .), thinks that I have a very low pain tolerance. I disagree. I think my pain tolerances are different to hers. I think my pain tolerances are also mostly high, because there have been several times throughout my history where I have been in extreme pain and have not made a sound.
