1. The Mighty Boosh
2. The Lord of the Rings
3. Torchwood
4. Doctor Who
5. J-rock

A couple of days ago I also became completely obsessed with Bumblebee from Transformers, but since it was only for half a day I don't think it really counts. :P

I was most strongly obsessed with

1. Writing

which I currently restart again.

My all time obsessions are

2. Music
3. Occultism
4. Autism

As a small kid I was strongly obsessed with

5. Sailor Moon

And these are actually all real obsessions I ever had.

I don't think I can make a Top 5

My current obsession is Mythbusters.

Other TV related obsessions have been The Mighty Boosh and The League of Gentlemen, with mini-obsessions for Derren Brown and Marcus Brigstocke.

Elliott Smith was my most long-lived and strong obsession

Any new album can become an obession, where I have to listen to it over and over. It started when I was little and my Mum used to buy me story tapes that came with a magazine each month. I'd keep rewinding the tape to listen to the little jingles and rhymes scattered throughout the stories. And the Tiger Club Kids tape from Haven holidays still sticks firmly in my mind. :-)

1. Animals and biology/ecology/zoology/conservation/animal welfare What can I say I'm an animal person, always have, always will be. I especially have a thing for cats (big or small, domesticated or wild).

2. Star Wars- I've been a huge Star Wars fan since 1997. It's perfect for me because it lets me daydream and escape to a galaxy where the possibilities are endless.

3. Disneyland- I've loved Disneyland since I was a toddler. A lot of it is due to the fact that the rides there give me sensory imput and help my sensory integration. I also like most Disneyland- related things: Pixar films, the Pirates of the Caribbean films, etc.

4. Medical shows- My new favorite show is House but I also like and have been obsessed with Scrubs and ER (when it was good).

5. Asperger's- I've read a lot of books by Temple Grandin and am posting here to try to learn more about why and how ASD works and in turn learn more about myself.

What really constitutes an obsession anyway? I've never figured this out, though apparently I had an odd obsession with scientific things when I was young. Oh well, going on what I presume you mean:

Computers

Warhammer
Music
People...? I just find it interesting to look at people...
