I walk on the right outside of my sole, fortunately now when I wear shoes anymore. It just happens and I don't do it on purpose. I heard about toe-walking and figured it might be similar, because I did this since I was little.

I also climb stairs on my toes only, I can't stop it or I'll risk falling flat on my face. I also didn't realise that not everybody is doing it until I watched my first real friends walking up and down the stairs not on their toes.

I have ever since I could walk. My parents always teased me about it, then later discouraged it. My grandma swore I would become a ballerina...>.>;;;

I do it naturally all the time unless my attention is drawn to it and I'm forced to stop. It's comfortable for me, never really notice that I'm doing it. I always do it on the stairs no matter what; I'm unable to climb stairs any other way. I also sometimes use my hands and sort of crawl up the stairs at home...

People always ask "why do you walk on your tip toes?" or "doesn't that hurt/feel weird?".

Only when barefeet; I got used to it from being barefeet around the house during my childhood.
I developed a weird gait from that which I alone corrected in a couple of years since I had began to get teased at school.
I don't normally pay attention to my walking upstairs (when I do) but I think I use tip toes since it's in situations I'm actually running/dashing.

Last year I once couldn't resist the urge to do a little skip past the ground floor receptionists (at work). :lol:

I always walk on my toes when barefeet (which is always when possible) and when walking up the stairs, without having to pay attention to it. It feels more pleasant and natural, as if floating.
