makes sense.

I just wish that peoples would just let AS peoples get on with their own lives and contribute to society in their own way using the unique talents that they have.

there is no point trying to find someone to blame for this, i feel it is just luck that makes a person the way they are so karma doesn't come in to it. wanting a way to improve ourselves is perfectly ok, but we should not be made to feel like we are broken just cos we are not like everybody else on the planet. and it is not an excuse to be a complete an utter a**hole. and it is not an excuse for the rest of society to be a complete and utter a**hole to us either.

we have our own positives and negatives just like the rest of humanity, and i don't like it when people paint us as whining pity addicts that are too good for the rest of humanity.
when the truth is we have our differences that make getting along with everyone else difficult.

this is my little rant. 8O

I shuddered and said "OW!" when I read JJstar's post, but when I see people ganging up on someone, regardless of what they said or did, I have to tell them to lay off that person. JJ needs to learn how to express himself/herself in a way that doesn't hurt others or make him want to hurt others, and if he needs to get it out so desperately that he can't take the time to think of how to do it better, he probably needs to be on Ritalin or an antidepressant, and maybe take a break and do something he likes and come back to this when he's ready, which should be soon. This is something he really does seem to need to get out.

OK - yeah. Uh huh. Right. Keep on taking those meds, keep on playing those video games, keep on posting to these forums, keep on giving the finger to humankind and put up your walls against Truth that's being said to you.

I have noticed some negativity on the forums (meaning many ASC forums) and some of it is understandable. Life as an autie can be hard: being abused, ostracized, etc., a person is naturally going to be angry.

But there is a time when that anger becomes a personal hindrance and it further isolates a person. Probably some of the karma jjstar was talking about.

If the anger to the world stays on this forum, that's probably okay. It's like beating up a Bobo doll-- provided we don't fob it off on other forum members that is. But if we let it leak into other areas of our life and instead of a release it becomes a general negative outlook, then it hurts us and makes us truly disabled.
