I got into the nerd field when I was about 8, working on desgning and bulding radios. I worked in nerding up until the very late '90s, in radio, control, measurment, sensing, and computers. I know that many of my collegues were at least Aspie and some were HFA. It goes with the creation of any new technology.

Short story is I don't know who was DXed and who was just there. I didn't learn there was a DX until I was 66.

none that are diagnosed, or at least want to share that bit 'o information...;)
I know of one, but have never met him. Met one autistic (VLFA -very low functioning autism),
so that was my only comparison. I thought none of could talk...;)

none. There might have been a few but I didn't know and it's hard to tell if somebody has it.

Oops, I forgot to mention this other aspie I met in this city from a diaper site. I could hardly see he had AS. Only thing I saw was he was follow the rules freak, it irritates him when people break the, when they don't keep their commitments, don't show up like they said they would unless they have a good reason, etc.
