Hi, Ghosthunter!

I hope you find all that you're looking for. Sometimes, I wonder why employers think that being "like everyone else" seems to be the end all to choosing who's qualified for a position. You're beyond qualified and very intelligent yet it seems that you're not being given a chance to show that from the get go and that really gets me P.Oed. It took a whole year for me to find work, even with all my qualifications and having a degree, so I know how hard it is to make it while having AS.

From what I've read about your reasons for leaving WP, being one of the newer WP members, I hope I haven't contributed to any negative experiences you've had here. If I did, it was never my intention to hurt you and I apologize in advance. To say the least, WP has helped me make a profound shift in my self esteem by exposing me to others who face similar issues. Those feelings of being a "mistake" and a failure have disappeared thanks to the support people here have given me.

So Ghosthunter, please don't think you can't express yourself here. If someone gives you negative feedback, just take as them expressing their opinion and not necessarily as an accurate reflexion of how everyone on WP feels about you. Personally, I think you're a wonderful, unique person I would love to meet and your creative way of constructing your thoughts in your posts is so fasinating I wonder how in the world you come up with some of the stuff you write.

Please don't give up on building your life. Yeah, it's tough and it sucks that the market is structured in such a manner it prevents us from showing the positive contributions people with AS can make. But I trust you'll get something much better than some nickel and dime, dead end job. I have this plaque on my desk and it says this: "Life's smallest sparks can ignite the biggest flame."

Hi GH,

I'm sorry that you feel that everyone has abandoned you, but I hope you do come back and dissect posts in your traditional style.

I think the last StarShip WP adventure sort of died down because the issue mix (from the forums) was a bit weak and a lack of crewmembers.

I was hoping that you would get the 1200/month job, but its to bad to hear they rejected you. I really don't know what to say.

NewGen alien emoticon ambassador,

And a double sollute to you for being who you are!

I hope you enjoy the Old Time Radio selections I added
to this forum. I gave a Stan's Favorite List option as well.

I hope you checked out the emoti-vid selection that
were iinspiration to write this forum.

and thanks for the pre-birthday(wensday 10/19)
greeting.

Mr.Ghosthunter out!

I do not understand why a simple difference of opinion constitutes a betrayal of trust?

When it makes how the other write a crime!
that is a simplified way of saying it.

I can give my full expression and with intent
to offend back(the targeted person) but won't
out of politeness.

Lets just say you are not children in a pg13
cartoon, but that other person likes to treat
you like one! And in the advent of such...
all or most PG17 thought got abolished as a
kindof-my space, not yours crime

Hi, Ghosthunter:

I hope you do manage with a home, and find a good job.

Things were going terribly for me, if you had read my prior posts on Wrongplanet, but they are going better now.

I hope you won't mind me asking what it was
that has been occuring in your life recently.

You have alot of posts! (compliment given)

I personally can see $1200 p/m covers school and
housing down here. $600 p/m is ......insert negative
phrase!

Hope to hear from you soon, and
happy halloween! (coming soon)

Ghosthunter,

It is good to hear from you. Coincidentally, today at work while toiling away mindlessly (when my mind can wander) I wondered what had become of you and if you would ever return to WrongPlanet.

People with Aspergers can often be intolerant and rather rude. You shouldn't always take it personally, this is just how many of us are. My advice is to ignore the ones who you find intolerable.

I hope that I was never one of the intolerables. If I was, it was not intentional, because I have no reason to be against you.

-lowfreq50

I am glad I made a influence in your life. I strive
to help others. Where do you work at now?
I think you said you lost your grocery job earlier?
and I do return occassionally!

Aspergers folks can be rude. Too bad my style of
PG17 writing offended them(the next gen/1001-2000)

Too bad they were led by one who treats them
like children and wants this site pg13! That is
apparently what the majority follow!

As you know by now, my 39th birthday is on
Wensday Oct, 19th. and I hope to hear from
you soon!

Mr.Ghosthunter Out!

I am a little jealous of my second cousin because she is turning 10 years old on Monday, and I barely know her as an intelligent, capable person. Everything is fine now, and I am happy.

Happy Birthday Ghosthunter!! Mine was on Oct. 8.....I wish I was turning 39 again.

Ghosthunter what does V.A.T. stand for? is that your diagnosis? If not, what was your diagnosis?

Thank you for this pre-10/19 birthday greeting!
V.A.T is Vocational Apptitude Training and later will
will supposedly be observed job perfomance evaluations.

I got a Aspergers one due to too many gaps in between my
younger years and later years. What helped was the
recently released recording on Wrongplanet i did.

I was using this site to sample out ideas that
it might construe. I got alot of ideas and
it was the best of all tools.....Too bad not the cleaned
sound version,

opening statement wrote:
Here is a part of the opening statement......
"It had been suggested to him that he has
an autism spectrum diagnosis. This assessment
is based on a interview, observation, and a
recorded interview with ______'s maternal
grandmother."

another excerpt wrote:
_____'s an outgoing talkative adult. His
converstation is characterized by a need to
begin at the beginning and continue until
he has said what he needs to say"

I could add more but that will be upon a request
by those who are interested!

Hmmmm?
Did you check out my oldtime radio sites listed here?
and I suggest for a bit of me, the Stan's Favorite
List.

Did you check out the emoti-vids that inspired this
forum?

Sincerly,
Ghosthunter

P.S....Thanks for the PM's and i hope the
horse training is doing well, I find most
ASD's prefer animals(including myself)

And not all of Wrongplanet is non-constructive. it
is when you are led like children by one(who feels
a self-appointment as god) is in order and regulates
speech you make(PG13 only allowed) like you
were mere children! That irks me.

To top it off, making the PG17'rs turned off so this
person can have their domain by deciept and playing
down others("I will applogize but not mean it, I hope
that makes you feel better if you want this applogy")
for their gain!

That is one of their favorite quotes as well as
their own past postings were PG17 as well util
they appointed themselves god!

It was you who chose to cling to this PG13
attitude that gave this person power.

oh! well! it is your site then.

I hope you checkout the emoti-vids samples

School has been going well. Things have settled down on a nice equalibrium for me, both mentally and personally.

I currently am working several hours each week at the campus TV station to fullfill the lab requirements of my degree. I am a busy person this semester, however I think I can survive.

Winter comes early to minnesota, hope you're ready!

YES! Ghosthunter I loved the sites you posted! How cool is that! 8)

I trained a horse this past summer . It is now being used for helping handicapped children. It's a program we have here. It really helps children, either physically handicapped or mentally challenged in some way. Some of these children are Autistic and we make some incredible connections. I won't train anymore until Spring.

Thank you for asking. :D

Early happy birthday in case I'm not on on the appropriate day, (and neither should you! Should be enjoying yourself! :) Unless of course this is enjoyable, in which case, by all means come here. Ah well, you know what I mean >_<)

Not sure exactly what was going on, but if it pertained to removing 'adult-oriented' content and making the environment suitable for people of all ages, I'm not sure I understand the objection, particularly with the Mature forum existing.

However, I certainly haven't been here long enough to be aware of the history of the forum, and change DOES unsettle many aspies, so I'll trust that you had your own valid reasons, whether or not I am able to appreciate them.

I hope your return is enjoyable, and that you rekindle many strong friendships, in addition to forming new ones.

how is the horse being used to train these handicapped kids?
Hmmmm?
perhaps in how to take care of animals skills?
Hmmmm?
just a guess!

What do you plan for a income until Spring?

What favorite shows did you like?
Did the vids makes sense that I linked here on this
forum and help explain the mood I was in making this
forum?

Did you listen to "Stan's Favorite Selections"?
and if so...what did you think?

Were there any personal favorites that you inparticular
like from the overall resources and downloads that you
may have listened to other than my favorites?

Hello GH,

Good to hear how things are going for you and a Happy Birthday on the 19th.

I hope to have a happy birthday as well. I made a ring
at the silver class that BeeBee covered in cost. They have
these communitiy short classes that are seasonal.

I made a silverized casing around a fossil snail, and a perfect
sea (rounded) fossil.

How are you? Did you check out the Old Time

Did you check out the Emoti-vids that inspired this

And I hope you found the comics update selections
a human touch to this page as well?

Sincerely,
