My mother used to love to call me enclycopedia brown.

I don't really think I emit any really creepy vibes, but I can tell a lot of people are wary around me.

I loved those books as a kid.

What about "walking encyclopedia"? My classmates sometimes used to call me that way back when I was ten years old or so.

Not "encyclopedia," but I have been called "the dictionary."

No idea where to start with name-calling.

"The professor" was kinda annoying.

Advice for parents? Accept your kids as they are.

Often called professor or 'doc' when younger. Now called strange or odd. I liked professor.

Advice for parents? Make home a safe place, where everything is believed. I never had to lie to say how horrible things were for me. Still, I was not believed or listened to so I developed my own nicknames which I never told anyone. They were "loser" and "reject 1"
I wish my mother had not told me it was my fault I was treated badly. I wish my mother had told me before I became an adult that she thought I was a genius.
My home is a safe place now.

Oh and BTW people HAVE accused me of stalking them. Apparently seeing someone and not greeting them then but telling them later that you saw them is "stalking." OK, so it IS creepy- but STALKING?

I also get accused of stalking, albeit not necessarily for that reason.

I have the habit of always taking the same walks, regardless. This seems to cause problems, one old lady was convinced that I must be looking to break into flats in the area, someone else thought I was watching them. I gave up on it and don't go out now.
