* The sound and feel of teeth on pottery (can't use pottery cups) or the sound of cutlery on pottery plates etc (but teeth is worse).
* Dishcloths. Mum hangs the dishcloths on the tap sometimes and I have to ask someone to move it or hoist it off with a knife! Very gross!
* Pilled sheets.
* Fluff that collects inside your socks.
* Bra straps that aren't even (or anything else uneven for that matter).
* Stickyness, particularly sticky fingers and lips. (I usually wash my mouth when I'm washing my hands, just like around the lips with my hands, people must think I'm crazy coming out of the toilet and washing my lips!).
* Gross things on my hands. (Don't freak, but if I have touched something 'gross', no matter how gross, I will invariably have to smell my hands and then 'lick the gross off' so it's not there anymore...)
* I can handle slime so long as I can wash my hands afterwards, but it grosses me out when it starts smelling and collects bits of gross and fuzz!
* The little oily patches of hair pattern that you can see on the windows of a train on a wet day when the windows steam up... EWW!
* Uneven nails/cuticles. It nearly kills me, I swear.
* Don't bite me, but I seriously have issues with not having my butt perfectly clean after going to the toilet. I used to go through rolls at a time, but now I 'freshen up' with baby wipes and it saves me the stress of 'not getting it all'.
* Touching people's hands sometimes, particularly kids hands. I get in trouble sometimes cos we hold hands to say grace and I instinctively 'rub the handage off' when we finish!
* The gross feeling of fuzz on your tongue and teeth (which is unfortunately overuled by the dislike of cleaning my teeth!).

I squelched through clay muddy puddles the other day and loved it to pieces. Sand feels great on my feet, but only on the beach: I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE getting sand elsewhere and I get frustrated if I can't get it all off. This is problematic, as for some reason this is seen as an open invitation to pour sand down my back or on my hair! Grr!

I know what you mean.

I hate the feel of sticky, gooey and gross stuff on my hands. It absolutley tips me over the edge.
Sand feels nice on the beach, but that's where I want it to stay. I don't like a sandy body or feet when I leave.
Kids hands are often greasy, and i've found myself franticly wiping my stuff down after they've touched it.

The round, plastic cap of something. I always have to put my lips on the edge of the cap and it disgusts me, makes me shiver all over. Just thinking about it freaks me out.

Soggy cornflakes. Looking at them makes me gag.

I used to have nightmares about sensory overload. It felt like I was being touched all over, while people around me were shouting.

Something in particular, or just anything?

Like those lids on coffee cups? Or a butter container lid?

A lot of things make the TV noise.
*stops to wonder if he should reveal his poisons*
Incandescent light bulbs, flourescent bulbs, my computer, the DVD player - I can hear almost every electronic hum. Luckily there is often so much other noise going on it distracts me from the hum, which when I hear it is maddening.
I play music or TV cartoons to drown it out.
Also when all the sounds are gone I can hear battery operated clocks ticking - even in the other room.

It's kind of hard to explain so I made two pictures of things that freak me out.

The thing on the right. Round, plastic caps like that. I'm almost compelled to put my lips against it and the feeling that it generates is horrible for me.

Again, that thing on the right.

It's not just caps of lipbalm, by the way (both of my examples are). It's just these things were close at hand. It's worse when the edges of the caps are very thin.

Like PhoenixKitten said, I, too, hate holding somebody else's hand. I am sensitive to the oil of the skin, but it is QUADRUPLY more unbearable to have that on my hands.

Even the oil from my own hands drives me insane and I'm constantly wiping my hands on my clothes.

Not any oilier than the average bear. I'm just incredibly sensitive. Most people complain about their skin being too dry and they ask everyone they meet if they can borrow some lotion.

I've never done that. I complain about my hands not being dry enough.

On the contrary, I can't stand whiteboards. Chalkboards are okay because I've become accostumed to them over the years, but I still cannot stand the smell of whiteboards markers. :x

Additional nightmare-- one which I have thankfully never had to experience but I can imagine it would be HELL: living in a campus dorm. All people and no cats.

I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate
hate hate hate hate hate lotions of any kind. I also hate washing my hands (with soap) because they smell like soap for the rest of the day, which really grosses me out when I eat. For good reason, I try to take my showers after all major meals to avoid this. I have mildly dry skin at my elbows, etc, but to date I've been very resistant to my parents attempts to use lotion for that, or even for sun protection.

I hate anything dry and dusty either, particulary concreate.

Did you used to work for the CIA perchance Larsen?

I don't like small rooms with lots of people talking where i am expected to produce a conversation.

the sound is like an electric saw burring.
the taste is dryness in my mouth.
the touch is of sweaty heat.

The smell of vinegar (malt, to be precise)
The smell of cheese (makes me want to throw up - I can just about take vinegar) also the taste, except one type that's spicy and doesn't taste of cheese ... still smells of it though :(
cloth in my mouth (especially on my tongue)
hair in my mouth
*shudders* nails down a blackboard
squeak when cutlery scrapes plates
Soggy things that shouldn't be soggy (eg bread)
cold chips
crumbs in things that shouldn't contain crumbs (eg crumbs in the honey)
*bits* on my feet or in my shoes ... or anywhere actually
Stuff like that. Surprisingly I can tolerate the squeal of a TV rather well ... which is good!

Terracotta pots rubbing together.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH

I bought some pots yesterday to re-pot my plants and hearing/feeling them griding together just about drove me insane.

I keep putting off going and collecting them from the lounge.
