Sorry for the grave dig:

Thanks for sharing :), there is a whole online group of AFOLs (Adult Fans Of Lego) several links i could post (if thats allowed ?) but if you look for Brothers Brick it should be your best starting point. I build too mostly huge cranes but have been venturing into trains recently.

I like Lego, and there's nothing abnormal about playing with such as an adult.

When younger, the pirate line was my favourite.

Playing with Lego at any age is awesome; who cares if it's normal or not?

To add, I put my nephew's Bionicle together last week (it was for ages 7 to 17); I had much fun doing it.

When I was younger, I'd stare at my Pirate ones for hours on end (my parents couldn't afford to get me any of the illustrious ones, like ships and forts, but I had several of the smaller boxes, like rowboats and buried treasure).

Personally, everyone has his/her own way of dealing with stress or means of taking use of free-time per se.. I can recall how I used to play with my g.i. joe figures a long time ago yet, I no longer have such but, everyone has an element which brings a great deal of comfort & serenity unto themselves therefore, playing with legos is not at all.

I liked my rowboat (the rowboat was quite over gunned with its stern mounted cannon, I must say). :)

I'm 19, still enjoy playing with lego. Anything involving making 3D structures from small units, is fun for me.

We have a whole Lego town collecting dust up in the top of my brothers wardrobe. There's no room to set it up again even if I wanted to play with it though. I prefer technics myself (me likes mechanical things :P )

Well said!
im 27 and most of the the stuff i build is technic (with gears and motors) i think this helps me alot i can focus on it quite easily only to look back latter and realise how complicated it is. mods feel free to delete the link if its against the rules:

I like the pirate line, maybe alittle to much :) the original ones are the best the cannons fired that was cool.

I wish I still had my legos. My parents took them away, and basically forced me to stop playing with them when I was a freshman in HS.

I still have my box of Lego from when I was little. Sometimes I do just randomly build with it - it's relaxing. I also have another construction toy where you slot different shapes together.
