Do you get along with your neighbors?

My mother didn't seem to get along with people in our neighborhood. Lot of them had mean kids on our block and they didn't care if their kids bullied. She says they were just lazy because they didn't want to do their job. One of them didn't like being the bad guys so they always called the cops so they can come and talk to their kids for them. Also she didn't like hearing the neighbor's phone ring and thinking it was hers. She doesn't know the sound of her own phone? My god I know the sound of my own phone and where the sound is coming from if i were outside.
Also she sometimes got critism from her neighbors about our yard like our grass needed to be cut and she didn't want to do it right now.


One of our other neighbors had problems too with the neighbors in the block, so they finally moved because they got sick and tired of the family across the street calling the cops because they didn't want to do their job, parents allowing their kids to be mean and having their son learn it and them having to keep teaching him that behavior is not okay, and kids being mean to their cat.


I have never had problems with my neighbors here yet. I hardly know them. But there was this neighbor below me who played her music real loud sometimes and it was all bass. Sometimes I wanted to go down there and ask her to turn it down but the music wasn't loud enough for the bass to be bothering my brain so I left it be. Sometimes she play it nine at night but I like staying up late so it didn't matter. Now she has moved out.

My neighbors are quiet and keep to themselves and seem to accept the fact that I never socialize with them. Our former neighborhood was a different story, though. It was a little war zone.
