Comfort clothing topic

I read that others here are like me, and feel at ease with a certain style/brand/fabric. :D

I like soft, flat, black, round shaped leather shoes. No laces, just slip ons with or without heel backs. Boots are also as shoes, but have laces. No heels. :x

Jeans, or soft cotton pants. Rarely sweatpants. Cut off capri like shorts or cargoes in summer. I like belts.

Soft non stretch cotton shirts, short or long sleeve, depending on the season. Sleeveless only in very hot weather. I only wear loose undies as I hate tight ones.

A sleeveless vest to cover my front, made from soft denim or twill, even if it is hot. It is knit in the autumn and winter.

A baseball cap for May to the end of September, and a wool tam (black or blue) for October to end of April. I never go hatless outside. :D

Scarves and mitts with a winter coat if very cold. I wear two-three pairs of socks at a time in winter, as feet get frost-nipped. I do live in Canada!

I always wear a hoodie with a zipper, even in summer (this is Texas...) unless I will be walking outside in the sun for a long time, and a short sleeved shirt. I like to wear pants (usually jeans, but I don't mind other kinds) and comfy athletic shoes for the arch. (I have flat feet.) My Transitions glasses are really nice to have too, but I've been wearing regular glasses lately because my Transitions pair is very scratched. And I thought the sun through sunglasses was really bright... :x
I don't buy clothes very often, to understate, so I end up looking pretty much the same every day. Not that I mind, though.

This is going to sound absurd, but I tend to have 'lucky' clothes, usually underwear, for some reason. If I wear particular underpants things go OK, but if I'm forced to wear the 'unlucky' ones (the others are in the wash) then things go pear-shaped.

I'm one for coats. I always feel 'naked' without a coat. It wasn't bad when I lived in England, I only had to go without a coat between May and October, but now I live in California, I hardly get to wear it!

I was also one for the check shirt and t-shirt underneath, but since coming here I tend to just wear the t-shirt. I didn't like it at first, but I've just got used to it.

You're female? I though you were male, you acted and seemed that way from your profile; imagined you as a 30-40 year old guy with a mustache living in London working on the double-decker cars...I remember you mentioning you liked them...

I love different things, I hat to wear the same things, I have enough T-shirts, shirts and trousers to pick from and when my shoes or sandal get used, I buy other ones
