I still regret throwing away my Barbie dolls. I desperately wish that I had kept it all, so I could line up all of the little accessories in true Aspie fashion.

How does that work? A spray bottle like from window cleaner?

(From Peter Pan)

I won't grow up
I don't wanna go to school
Just to learn to be a puppet
And recite a silly rule

If growing up means it would be
Beneath my dignity to climb a tree
I won't grow up, won't grow up, won't grow up
Not me.

I won't grow up
I don't wanna wear a tie
Or a serious expression
In the middle of July

And if it means that I must prepare
To shoulder burdens with a worried air
I'll never grow up, won't grow up, never grow up
So there

Never gonna be a man
I won't!
Like to see somebody try
And make me!
Anyone who wants to try
And make me turn into a man
Catch me if you can

I won't grow up.
Not a penny will I pinch.
I will never grow a mustache,
Or a fraction of an inch.
'Cause growing up is awfuller
Than all the awful things that ever were.
I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up,
Not me,

I won't grow up
I don't wanna wear a tie
Or a serious expression
To try to act just like a guy

'Cause growing up's awfuller than
All of the awful things that's ever been
I won't grow up, won't grow up, won't grow up
Again

Not me.

Yes, which is a good thing I've got my brother who also is an aspie because we can play together. :)

:(

I had this a lot when I was 10-14. I wanted to play with my friends, but they all wanted to be grown up and stand around and talk.
I think the only reason grown ups don't play with each other is because they're ashamed/afraid of what other people think about them. When I talk to people about it, they say that they'd love to do kid stuff again.

You can. Great for recycling, that. I like the ones that have both the spray and the stream, so you can get several effects, depending on how you hold it and the way you have it set.

You're not alone. I love playing. I play with Lego, plush animals and cars. I would love to play board games or some other games, but I don't know anyone who would be willing to play those with me anymore. I also like coloring pictures. When I'm outside I often wish someone would play something with me, but everyone my age is so serious and worried about other people's opinion that they never do such things anymore.
