It's not about post count per session....or is it????

The answer may cause an epidemic of post padding and whoring....
Hermit has 11 posts today.
I have sixteen counting this one. So I know it is not about posts per day, because some of my posts were in a previous session.
Not to mention which, I am moving down.
Somebody doesn't like me....

I love puzzles.

Y'all will have more fun trying to figure it out...

But when I return, I will be #1 again.

We'll see about that. I think you have some competition from SB2. However, I will be content with my midrange spots and my meaningful posts....

SB2 has 12 posts per day average, so it is not that.
Is it an algorithm, or something more simple?
I think that hermit will not be number one when he (she?) logs in again....

i have not looked in a while, but, do you know what it takes to mkeep up with sophist and her ppd avg.
i have been trying my best but, i am tired all the time. Oh if only i can be young again.

One thing i have noticed lately is that the #! spot is a lot more difficult to hold onto once you have gotten it.

Two things come to mind;
increased membership or site activity, which makes the algitryth cycle more frequently.

or

Alex knows that we know what he knows, so therefore he has changed or sped up the process in an effort to keep us off track.

Hmm well I must admit perhaps I was a little hasty.

But, I still think I have it figured out. I could be wrong, of course.

I just tried to do what I did before, and it did not work. However, I believe I can do it in the morning again.


It's possible alex is on to us, he has been very quiet on the issue!

It's also possible what I did this morning that gave me the #1 spot was a complete, utter, embarrassing coincidence.

As stubborn as I am I choose to believe I can do it again tomorrow (there are reasons).

I don't care about being #1, I just want to know how it works!!
