Normally I'm silent.

If I have something to say and I think someone will be interested, I lecture.

If I have something to say and I want someone's thoughts on it, I'll attempt to converse.

(These are both presuming that I can initiate speech at the time; I can't always.)

I fail at conversations that aren't one-to-one.

Sometimes I feel like we aspies were born to be basically mute but were able to emulate NTs better than other lower functioning Autistics, and while NTs *acquire* communication skills we can only emulate.
