ED: the best site known to man

I could read some of those aritcles 1000 times and never get bored, especially the chris chan one XD

Uncyclopedia is funny too, but much too tame for my tastes.

I didn't find either funny. They weren't humorous. They were just trying to shock as much as possible.

Oh lordy. That had me rolling. I love that. I have a pretty good sense of humor though. I mean. I am an American but I don't get angry about what they say about America. I figure it is a joke site. Maybe a few people think that but I know people who think the world is flat. It doesn't make their belief any truer. this is funny though.

It doesn't bother me. But it doesn't amuse me either.

Those are the sort of people that shouldn't be allowed internet access.

Actually, the article pushes so many buttons so accurately that I'd suspect some of the authors had AS themselves.

I was thinking that myself. They had a bit too many facts about AS, and trolls don't generally have any idea about the people they're trolling. So either they are very dedicated trolls that have done their homework, or as you said are fellow aspies with too much free time.

Probably both. in the talk page several people claim to have aspergers. Also these are ED trolls. Seeing the articles where tey find dox and post links to it on pastebins, screencap everythng, etc suggests to.

Having had a rather bad impression set by the fact that they have stolen art without credit, my standards for the site were rather...low. The first thing I saw was apparently a disclaimer to not edit the page. That lowered my impression of the site even lower. As I started to scan the page, I found myself quickly (Less than a second, give or take) getting an air of irritation from even being there. Perhaps less/more than three seconds later, the tab was closed.

This is a really twisted and perverted use of the Wiki system. I would find it an acceptable target for denial of service attacks, but that would only feed the trolls more, apparently, so it would have to be launched from a remote place. It would really satisfy me to see this Wiki(If you were to even call it that...) banished from the web or destroyed. (And checking over the Web host, DreamHost, I do see a possible way of getting it wiped out. Found nicely nestled in the terms of service. Muhahahaha! Namely, I think that Lawful Purpose on there might be the way, but ED might claim 'Fair Use' Fair use my rear, then.)

Ahem. Yeah, I am one of the ones who wishes to see sites like this banished forever, and finding out about the host is the way. Just don't go trigger happy.

that site has received DDoS attacks in the myriad wars and n***a moments the *chans get into, the most recent one being the chanapolypse when the site was slowed down and apparently off-line for a while due to a botnet. Before then, during the opening stages of Chanology some pro-scientologist hackers and skiddies DDoSed and slowed it to hell. There were some other examples. It has also been taken down due to a lack of funding several times due to the fact that they piss off most advertisers with their content.

Another unfortunate tendency of sufferers of the disease is their tendency to ruthlessly harass anyone who says anything unfavorable about Asparagus, especially if they refuse to take it back. Over six recorded holy wars have been fought by these crazy people over the sacred vegetable being disrespected.

At least that was good satire!
