Deficits in Attention, Motor control and Perception = DAMP

is the same as: AS+ADHD+Dyspraxia. I think everyone with 2 of this 3 applies for that diagnose.

OCD and PTSD

Might just add I also have tinnitus and Menieres Syndrome.
While the tennitus just seems to have always been there the Menieres was triggered by a concussion that lead to partial blindness for a couple of days some years ago. Been with me ever since.

Depression.

If I was at school today, I almost certainly would have been called ADHD, dyspraxic, dyslexic, dysgraphic, hyperlexic or just ODD.

But then again maybe I am just odd.

One negative label is enough, but seven ?! 8O

I'm just thinking, thank goodness I received a lot of help from my family at home to supplement my school work.
I would have failed spectacularly if it hadn't been for all the extra resources (especially computer based) they bought in.

It is possible to have severe learning difficulties and then overtake everyone else, also improve organisational skills, with help from home.
I'm living proof of that.

Well, when I was younger, I had an anxiety disorder. I think it was Generalised Anxiety Disorder, but my doctor just called it anxiety and gave me beta-blockers and I also got therapy. I'm still prone to anxiety, but it's not as bad as it used to be. I also have anger manegment problems, but I'm dealing with it.

Baby and Toddler (in order):
Hypertonia
Severe Developmentally Delayed
Classic Autism

Childhood:
Mild Dyspraxia
Dysgraphia
Hyperlexia
ADHD

Adolescence:
Psychosis NOS
Mania
Bipolar 1 Disorder

Young Adulthood:
OCD
Social Anxiety Disorder
Schizoid Personality Disorder
Borderline Personality Disorder
Generalized Anxiety Disorder
Non-24 Hour Sleep Disorder
Schizo-affective Disorder
Early Schizophrenia
Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis revoked

According to one psychiatrist, I am not even on the autism spectrum, and most likely never was. My problems during childhood were due to being traumatized by abuse, and maybe hyperlexia could explain my speech delay (didn't talk until age 5).

Really I have no idea which one of these diagnosis is correct...if any of them are. They can't all possibly be. I know for instance I am not obsessive compulsive, and I'm, pretty sure I don't have schizophrenia, or any of the various personality disorders. I don't think I have ADHD either.

I think what I most likely do have is an ASD and Bipolar I....

I voted no because I have no diagnosis of anything else.
I am, however, extremely depressed and have been for several months.

A long time ago:
F33.2) Recurrent depressive disorder, current episode severe without psychotic symptoms
F60.1 ) Schizoid personality disorder - Well I think I was misdiagnosed, according to Christopher Gillberg 2002 - "A Guide to Asperger Syndrome", people with AS exhibit some characteristics similar to SPD so some people get misdiagnosed.

Recently:
F32.2 ) Severe depressive episode without psychotic symptoms
F83 ) Mixed specific developmental disorder

Well I haven't been officially diagnosed with AS, my psychologist told me I had AS but she is not qualified to make an official diagnosis (I guess in the US only a psychologist who has a PhD is able to do that, I don't know how it works here).

Depression (although fingers crossed, it hasn't bothered me the last five years or so) and anxiety (which gives me heart palpitations, and I'm on meds for those).

I was put in remedial at age 6 and recall being told I was 'hyperactive', but I don't believe I was ever officially diagnosed with ADHD, although I've done online tests and I do seem to fit quite a few ADD criteria.

I've been diagnosed with lots of things.. but it was never satisfactory, it was just like a list of symptoms that didn't make for a solid diagnosis...

Anxiety, depression, OCD, trichotillomania, bulimia, anorexia, ED-NOS, AD(H)D.. various others..
