I sleep with a teddy near my side it smell of chocolate, before we moved it would be my dogs but I'm in a loft now sad face

I've had trouble sleeping with dead silence as well. During the summer I have an air conditioner in my room which helps, but during winter I use a small fan for the sole purpose of warding off silence. As for lighting I personally prefer total darkness when I sleep since I'm hyper sensitive to bright light. Occasionally with in the past six months I have slept with I stuffed orca that I have had since my child hood. I'm not sure why but whenever I do this I awaken the next morning much more relaxed.
