Great comic. You should definitely carry on with it.

As an aside, your drawings look very similar to my own. I have always enjoyed drawing cartoon monsters, ever since I was able to draw. I had one critter I named a "fumbler", which looks very similar to your fuzzy thing, though mine didn't have a big nose, and had many more hairs (I loved drawing each line of hair... sometimes I would spend an hour drawing a full page one), with little feet out the bottom and weird stubby arms with clawed hands.

I am new to this site, I thank you greenturtle74 for your explanation. I understand it better now. I noticed I have a few things that you explained in your definition. Once again. Thank you.

Those are awesome. I like the one...."I have something important to tell you"...."he smells like pepperoni" 8)

I first saw this cartoon over a year ago, and I come back to it sometimes because it's so upbeat, and accurate.
Thinking of printing off copies to keep on hand for NT peeps (like the bf!).

we aspies need a book or cartoon explaining NT's to us. For one reason I just cannot grasp so many of their views and actions...

Okay - I just joined Wrong Planet. I have a 9-year-old with AS who was diagnosed about 2 years ago. My husband was diagnosed a few months later. It was one of those "the son is JUST like the father" things. Then, I got diagnosed this past week after wondering about it for a few months.

This describes SO much of all three of us. I ordered 5 copies from lulu so that I can give them to the school, therapist, and family. I may also buy the download so that I can print some to share with others I meet.

It is SOOOO much better than the "well, it's the mild end of the autism spectrum" that I seem to fall back on. Asperger's is about us being "wired differently" not wired wrong.

I have also "liked" your Facebook page.

I am so glad to have found you. I read all the replies to this post. I am glad that you made it past some of the rough patch that happened after you posted this. You have an amazing gift. Thanks for sharing with all of us!

8. Aspie test (http://www.rdos.net/eng/Aspie-quiz.php, v. 2):
Aspie score: 145 of 200 (+12 from the eval)
Neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 62 of 200 (-13 from last eval)
You are very likely an Aspie

I got 5 copies of the book from Lulu today!! !! Now I can share them with some of the special people that work with my son. I already showed the counselor what I had printed from here. She is starting to see a lot of kids with AS. She is looking forward to getting a copy of the book.

Thanks again for creating this!
