107 aloof, 111 rigid 88 and pragmatic. I scored above the cutoff...so that should be a good thing.

Got distracted and had to leave after taking it...don't feel like taking it again. I wrote the scores down before I left....hoping that I could understand them from coming back to these posts...but everyone just has the scores and no explanation.
Should have taken my time before leaving and read the results more carefully. I was being rushed.

what do these scores mean though. And what the heck is pragmatic?

I'll see if I can interpret the scores later, but pragmatism relates to a view of solving problems that is practical and matter-of-fact. You'll probably be more interested in something that actually works than something that might work a bit less well but looks good.

Welcome. :)

It's known that Asperger syndrome has risk factors linked to genetics, so if your children are on the spectrum it's certainly not unlikely HFA is found elsewhere in the family.

1: BAPQ

You scored 121 aloof, 118 rigid and 92 pragmatic

You scored above the cutoff on all three scales.
Clearly, you are either autistic or on the broader autistic phenotype.
You probably are not very social, and when you do interact with others, you come off as strange or rude without meaning to.
You probably also like things to be familiar and predictable and don't like changes, especially unexpected ones.

2. AQ: 40%

3. EQ: 13 SQ-R: 101 => Extreme Systemizer

4. EIQ:
Snapshot Report:

Self-report Component
Subscale IQ score = 63
Subscale percentile = 1

According to your self-report answers, your emotional intelligence is very poor. People who score like you do feel that they have trouble dealing with their own emotions and those of others. They struggle to overcome difficulties in their lives and they are unable to control their moods. It's hard for them to understand how best to motivate themselves and reach their goals. In addition, they find social interactions quite difficult, for several reasons. They may have trouble allowing themselves to get close with others, finding it difficult to be vulnerable enough to establish intimacy. They also report having trouble offering support to others, likely due to the fact that they do not understand where others are coming from or they lack ideas about how best to help. Perhaps by working on your problem areas, you can become more confident in dealing with your own emotions and those of others

5. HSP test: 17 => Sensitive Perso

6. 'Reading the mind in the eyes' test: Your score: 32
A typical score is in the range 22-30. If you scored over 30,
you are very accurate at decoding a person's facial expressions
around their eyes.

7. Cambridge Face Memory test: 88% correct

I haven't done the aspie tests as i've done them before and all come back, check you have aspergers, which insides with my diagnosis.

What I don't get is that my diagnosis is deffiently aspergers, but i'm good at facial expretions and recognition. In all other areas I fit the bill perfectgly, especialy in the empathy department.

(sorry for spelling, i don't have spell check on this computer)

EQ: 10
SQ: 49

Aspie Quiz:
Your Aspie score: 159 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score : 45 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

Baron-Cohen test

Disagree: 3,8,10,11,14,15,17,24,25,27,28,31,32,34,36,37,38,40,44,47,48,50: 1 point

Fairly conclusive ;-) And yes I have a formal diagnosis too.

I got 49% on the face blind test and 19 on the eyes one. I knew I had a hard time with this stuff but I had no idea I was that bad.

I found some other tests on the internet, but I'm not sure how accurate they are or if they had been posted here or not. According to that, I'm even below aspies in friendships and empathy :o

Your result for The Broad Autism Phenotype Test ...
Autistic/BAP

You scored 105 aloof, 117 rigid and 107 pragmatic
You scored above the cutoff on all three scales. Clearly, you are either autistic or on the broader autistic phenotype. You probably are not very social, and when you do interact with others, you come off as strange or rude without meaning to. Disagree: 1,10,11,15,17,24,25,27,28,29,30,31,32,36,37,38,40,44,47,48,50: 1 point

Your Systemizing (SQ) and Empathizing (EQ) Quotient Test Results
March 20, 2011
Click here to share your EQ SQ scores on your blog.
Respondent Average EQ Average SQ Brain Type
Males 39.0 61.2 Systemizing
Females 48.0 51.7 Empathizing
Your Score 16 113 Extreme Systemizing
What does your score mean?

Generally, the higher the score the greater your natural ability for that trait. However, the EQ test has 40 questions compared to 75 in the SQ test. As a result, although the unprocessed quotients may be used for comparing each trait ability between individuals, the absolute scores do not tell an individual if he or she has a greater tendency to empathize or systemize. A calculation taking into account the quantity of questions in each test is used to determine a person's brain type along the following continuum:

lot of tests on here...yeesh.

That was interesting. I scored 'Extreme Systematizing', not because my Systemizing was high, but because my Empathisizing was so very, very low.

Also, the EIQ and facial recognition tests were VERY STRESSFUL!
