Good. you are invited to join the France meetup thread: http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt91153.html

8) I look forward to meeting you. :D

I hope you manage to find a cheap flight. I have no idea what companies do Sweden to S. France; maybe you could change planes somewhere like Morgana is doing. Good luck.

Keep us posted on the France-meet thread! :)

Henriksson :)

Ryanair have a return flight from Stockholm to Paris for £43 at the moment.

I hope you can manage to come, and if you wanted to stay longer to make it more worthwhile, ( I notice you posted on the France-meet thread to say it seemed a shame to only go for a weekend ), you could. A couple of people are arriving on the Wednesday and Thursday.

OK, thanks. I think I will have to think this over a bit. :)

I vote that we try to organise a meet for at least 20 people, ( I probably wouldn't travel, from France, for anything smaller ), this year, ( in August preferably/please, or at Easter :) , as I said ), and that next year, having learned from our mistakes, probably, we do it again but BIGGER!! ! ( perhaps on the beautiful Keele Campus, or one of the larger properties on the places-to-be list, or whatever )

Does anyone else think that this is worth trying?

A trial-run European Wrong Planet gathering this year and a mega one next? :D :?:
If we are still planning a mega European Wrong Planet gathering this year, then we need to start planning it.
Since the European Wrong Planet gathering in Avignon was a great success, we may have a successful one this summer as well.
(but I do want at least 100 people to attend it, to make it interesting enough for me to attend).

I think someone is organising a big spectrum meet up in Holland for sometime next year.

Do you remember who it is, KenG, and what if any contact details there are for the event? It was someone in connection with Autscape, but I didn't keep the chatlist issue that it was mentioned in. Or would you prefer an almost entirely/exclusively WP get together?

Would Holland be far enough north for you, bdkhsfgk? Were you thinking of somewhere in particular?

ounion, I was thinking Norway or Sweden, Norway has those fantastic, peaceful landscapes with mountains and everything, Sweden has long, long beautiful beaches where the pack can slack off and eat, but in case this wouldn't work, Holland would be a great place to arrange it :D

All I've seen about it on the Autscape-Chat list was this: "I think there may be a real possibility of an Autscape-like event in the Netherlands if a number of you wanted to gather yourselves to do it."
It seems very theoretical and there were no contact details.

Just in case this question is aimed at me: Every event I'm taking part in needs to be as open as possible. In this case, I am hoping for an open autistic/neurodivergent gathering that will also be open to any interested neurotypicals.
(if we are hoping to become a real world mass movement, our events need to be as open as possible).
