We've discussed briefly about a possible get-together at the Bodyworlds exhibit at the Museum of Natural Science. I'm gonna suggest next Sunday, the 11th. Any opinions?

I should be here as well.
I would like to do Boddies in time to go to Taft st. for the evening service.
Anyone with me is encouraged to bring thier laptop and hang in the coffee bar, slurp a frap and/or attend the service. :thumleft:

Hey SC!

I'd love for you to go too! I miss you... I'm gonna come over and get you
out of that house if it takes a crowbar! <wink, grin> ... ya can't stay inside
all the time. I know where you are coming from and I agree with you too,
but I'm still going to push you to get out once and a while.

I may need the same thing one day as I too get in a funk from time to time...

Yours,
Jeffrey

PS: Ya wanna meet up at Taft Street Saturday or Sunday this week and
drink coffee? I've got some stuff that I could really use some advice on.

Just to let everyone know, they have postponed the inspection for a while so we have a little more time to get ready.
This means that the cookout is back on for Sunday. We can still use help, just the situation is not as urgent..it is no longer scheduled for Monday. It is still happening soon though.

Scott,

The way you wrote that invitation makes it seem like we are touring a morgue
or watching an autopsy. I can personally attest that attending an autopsy is
interesting. I love to take things apart and since society generally frowns on
taking people apart, I was able to satisfy my curiosity whilst working at a
hospital in the medical centre some years ago ... but I digress:

(yes I know, dark humour)

Olivia,

We are *NOT* going to a morgue or attending an autopsy! We are planning
a trip tp the Natural Science Museum to see people that have donated thier
bodies to science and have been preserved by a chemical process. If you
are at all interested in science I think you'd enjoy the outing.

Yours,
Jeffrey

I'm sorry, I should retract my previous description and be more eloquent and tactful.
Bodyworlds is like a wax museum.
But..........(pregnant pause)...............................

It's not wax!

Jeremy(ValueMan),

There are two outings coming up and one meeting.

1. The meeting will be held on Jan 8th. (in Stafford, TX)

=============

2a. The first of the two outings happens every Sunday night at
"Super Happy Fun Land" at Polk Street and Milby Street - See MapQuest:

http://www.mapquest.com/maps?city=Houst ... TERSECTION

=============

2b. The second is next Sunday the 11th during the afternoon at the Science museum, then
on to SHFL for the weekly potluck dinner. Let's pass the word around at the meeting!

Alright. I'll assume Bodyworlds is a go for this coming Sunday the 11th. Is 1:00pm good for everybody?

Here's a link for more information on the exhibit:

I have no idea what to do after the exhibit, though...
