Women hate lyers but you HAVE to lie when they say "does my bum look big in this."
I was just thinking about this one the other day! (Or more like "does this make my bum look big?") It's so dumb, because if you're fat, then the answer is "no" because it's not the clothes, it's you. Buuut if you're skinny and it makes your butt look big, then it's the clothes' fault, so there's no reason to take it personally! (And personally I'd be grateful if you saved me from walking around in clothes that made me look bad.) So it seems like as a man you'd be able to win that question with any honest answer, buuut... no. Apparently not.
I guess I understand the purse and shoe thing though. Each one is different and gives a different impression so you can make so many different "looks" by wearing different ones. It's like an art, I think, dressing yourself up and looking different every day. It seems like it would be fun. (If you like being conspicuous and don't mind less-than-comfortable shoes.) I guess it's like a hobby, which is why they buy so many different kinds. (Don't we all know what it's like to put a lot of time/money/effort into our hobbies?)
