I was really sad watching the last show where Heather was booted. My husband was laughing at me because they kept making comments about how social things were an issue, eye contact was an issue...I kept screaming at the telly...."Duh, she's autistic." It's too bad they don't have to make accommodations for her on the show. Hmmm...or maybe they do...I dunno. I do know that the last competition was extremely unfair to her because of the maps and the time issues.

I just really think she should have had more accommodations. My husband would never dream of sending me anywhere armed only with a map. Ridiculous! Did fashion model as a job become exempt from the ADA? Think of what Diva b*****s other models have been asking for ridiculous accommodations and they didn't have a disability. At least I'm pretty sure that b***h isn't a disability, but I could be wrong!

And Alex, I would like to know which situations Heather found most challenging and frustrating and how she coped. I mean, outside of what we saw on the show.

It's weird to hear that she and Bianca actually got along. I guess it'll make me look at Bianca a little differently now.

Good interview. I posted it on Antm messageboard for all of Heather's fans to read. I can't believe that people think all models do commercials, do the runway, do everything required in that show because it's not true. Also if Heather had her face on the cover of a magazine, there would also be an interesting interview. That would be an increase of sales so from a business person's viewpoint, it would be stupid to not give this girl the time of day.

I still have a hard time believing she was friends with Bianca.

Last season, the b***h of the house was Renee. People would leave and say that Renee wasn't really that bad. Then there was an episode where she was plotting with two other girls to make Natasha look bad when she had a cold. One girl who left previously finally spoke out and said how deeply disappointed she was in Renee's repeatedly bad behavior. Later, Renee did not deny any of her behavior, saying that was just the way she was.

I think there's already been an interview with Janet where she's said she doesn't think Bianca is a good role model for young girls.

I think Heather just wants us to see the good in Bianca, whatever that may be.

Thanks for posting the interview, Alex (and for asking one of my questions). It was great to gain that insight into Heather after watching her on the show for all these weeks. She was certainly more gracious about Bianca than I would have been in her position. One thing my mom mentioned last week was that Heather pronounces "Asperger's" in an unusual way. I've never heard anyone else pronounce it like that.

Her public speaking skills seem to have improved since she was on the show. Her tone of voice is different. She also sounds more confident. She sounds more neurotypical. And judging by her appearance on the access Hollywood interview, it's evident that her non-verbal communication skills have improved significantly. I wonder what type of training she went through? alex, that's a question you should have asked her

About the interview with WP. Why did the interview end so abruptly? The "fire alarm went off," alex asked another question, Heather answered it, and, that was the end of the interview...
