Do you guys think this test is very accurate, from a medical standpoint? I, in fact, score highly on all of the online AS tests but this one had me going "YES, YES!" the most.

Just curious.

I think it's accurate enough. I have a psych degree and was in grad school before I ran out of money. So I got a little work in research design. I think the tests that a psychiatrist would give you to help him diagnose you would have very similar questions.

Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 112 of 200
You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

Hunting and perception are strongly on the NT side, communication is balanced but more NT, social leans Aspie but is a bit balanced, compulsion is mostly Aspie, talent is strongly Aspie.

Although I may lean NT, it doesn't help me one bit where socializing is concerned. I have so much trouble making friends. Maybe it's because I didn't get the right support.

And what the heck is hunting? Seriously, could someone answer that for me? Thanks.

I was tormented by the nonexistent copy-and-paste function of my phone, couldn't add screenshot:

Your Aspie score: 121 of 200
Your NT score: 85 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

... btw, this is not the quiz I mentioned in my intro. Interesting no (and eye-opening) nonetheless.

130 AS / 82 NT. Sounds about right. I'm not sure how to interpret the graph, though. For instance, why are there two of everything? Is there a difference between Aspie talent and NT talent? And what exactly is "hunting"? I assume it's not evaluating my hunting skill :)

Aspie 60 of 200

I've went Aspie 130+ on this version some time ago.

I wonder if a different diagnoses is the difference or if treatment is the difference(?)

If you are puzzled by this strange quiz then you are not alone. Even more puzzling is how it has gained so much traction around here. It's as if once something is on the internet people suspend all critical thinking and common sense; everybody else is referring to this test so it must all be above board, well researched and produced by knowledgeable experts or institutions, right? Rather like strange cults or rituals some things seem to gather such momentum that any lunacy will be accepted without question.

And yes, "hunting" is exactly what it says it is. The author of the quiz has this big thing about hunting. Look it up.

Quite the opposite, actually - Any test I find online, I assume is just for fun. I don't expect it to be valid or reliable. I just wish the author would explain it better.

I am going in for a screening next Friday. My little brother was diagnosed a few years ago and I have always identified with many of his struggles and after reading up more on female traits, it seems very possible that I also may be an aspie.

My scores tend to range from a low of 128 to a current high of 141. Granted, the quiz does have a tendency to rotate questions, though I am beginning to wonder if I am a bit of an inconsistent person. My hunting appears lean more towards the neurotypical side.

I thought I'd be an Aspie. Hmm.
I'm 17 and this says it's for adults.

I love this quiz, it feels like an aspie made it and it's at times so spot on that at times it's just a brilliant feeling that someone else understands exactly what I've felt at times, the small things that are just slightly odd but only someone who is aspie understands perfectly.
