Leave a muted TV on and refuse to turn it off saying you don't hear anything.

478) Stores with "greeters." ARUAAAARRRRGHGGGG!! !! !! ! What marketing jerk came up with this idea? Seriously, who?? I can't stand walking into a store and have some drone in my face waving a sales flyer and saying "welcome to [blah-blah] how are you today?" Get the F* out of my way and leave me alone, else I will go to a different place.

LOL, I hate both of those things... Even worse than the greeter(as I usually ignore them anyway) is the pushy salesperson, who, immediately upon entering the store, will crawl up your ass, asking if he/she can help you with anything, asking what you're looking for, etc. Look here, as*hole... Just because I'm in the store doesn't mean I need your help. If I can't find something on my own, THEN I'll ask. And half the time the people in the store don't know wtf they have anyway. I've called wal mart to ask about a certain item to be told they didn't have it, only to find myself going there a little later anyway, AND THERE IT IS! This has happened to me too many times. It's ridiculous.

soundofrain said "Never teach me any practical living skills and then expect me to have them like you do"

to which I respond OMG YES!! !! !! !! OH I freaking HATE THAT! at 43 I still haven't a clue....! !! !! most people are bragging about their CHILDREN'S achievements at my age.... sigh

Answering rhetorical questions is a great way to annoy an NT.
 very true.

On a related note, something to annoy an Aspie is to ask them "How are you?" without waiting for a reply. What's the point?

Yes, this happened to me recently. Someone with whom I'm unfortunately in business was headed down the sidewalk in a procession walking their bicycles and asked me that question and didn't even bother to stop for me to answer, so I said "Nothing!"

Criticize the way the Aspie raises his child, then say, "But it's not your fault; you weren't raised right."
That happened to me, in fact.

Use their Asperger's as a ad hominen when you don't agree with them or when you want to put blame on their condition for something you don't like.

My mom has done this to me I suspect because she once told me it was my Asperger's that I wanted my whole family to put dirty dishes in the dishwasher when it's empty or put dishes in the sink when there are clean dishes in the dishwasher but yet my aunt is the same way too and she doesn't have AS.

Also mom has played the literal card on me and I suspect it was to get me to agree with her because she didn't want to admit she was wrong. Like the time she told me she has always given me universal rules and one day she decided to change one of her rules because I was an adult now and I told her she has always given me universal rules and she goes "You're being literal."

Attack them on account of their special interest and watch them cringe.

Tell them that they'll be really great parents. As if their own doubts weren't enough and what they really needed was another unfulfillable expectation.

Not my quote.

People have told me the same thing too. Telling me I'd be a great mother but I am already feeling I am failing as a parent.

No kidding, I work at a store too and feel exactly the same way. I really hate when they whistle to the songs on the loudspeaker that should never involve whistling in any capacity. In a related note, I cannot stand the music at xmas when they place the same stinkin' song 5 times in 6 hours. I want to surgically remove my eardrums at xmas time.

While the above can be quite annoying, the strange thing is, I can listen to the same hypnotizing songs or tunes for hours on end. (currently The Chain, by Ingrid Michaelson, Filii Neidhardi by Corvus Corax, Floating the Flambeau by Gaelic Storm, Gaudalier by Corvus Corax, and an 8min sample/demonstration track of Len Kagamine)

Sorry about getting the quotes wrong.
In any case it comes down to the same empty, pointless, judgmental phrase that would annoy about everyone.

Say "You have two days to rearrange your bedroom to make room for things you don't actually have room for."

When asked for clarification on why this couldn't have been mentioned, say, a week earlier, yell and stomp off.
