- Cold -- cold weather, cold water, cold feet, whatever. Being cold makes me miserable, although I love being hot! Anything less than 80 degrees is long-sleeve weather for me.
- Tight clothing -- I wear almost exclusively skirts and dresses that drift away from my body when it's warm enough, and wide-leg trousers or loose jeans when it's cold. (My husband wishes I would wear tight clothing, but that's never going to happen.)
- Filing my nails. I clip them (and sometimes bite them).
- Dry skin; I keep lotion all over the house (both bathrooms, the kitchen, my bedside table, my study, and the living room all have lotion in them; I also keep two small tubes in my purse along with hand sanitizer).
- Grocery stores. Too loud, too bright, too crowded, too many things to process. Very anxiety-inducing. I do my shopping at a farmer's market -- far away, but going to the butcher, the baker, the greengrocer, etc. is very pleasant for me.
- Wool...but I am allergic to it, so that's probably a large part of why it feels so unpleasant to me
- Eye contact
- Being touched by people I do not know...I somehow seem to have fallen in with a very touchy-feely group out here and have to concetrate on not flinching when people hug me.
