Do you turn conversations around in words?

Oh, so you mean getting words mixed up and misunderstanding what they are saying?

Or does it mean making verbal jokes like puns?

I think it means accidentally flipping the words in a sentence?

Yikes. Simply yikes. And here I was thinking I could blend in with my friends! But that one question where it asked if I found it easier to communicate with odd people than with regular people; I have problems communicating regardless! It doesn't matter if I'm talking to my extremely gay, Lady Gaga-obsessed friend or my very conservative uncle, I have the same problems talking to either of them!

I do both - I love flipping words, and making a good or suprizing point on purpose. Other times I spell it out wrong or misunderstand. I think I started utilizing the fun-and-useful-potential of turning things around and/or misunderstanding in my eary teens - I am now 47.

Took it again as I haven't done so in a few weeks and the results surprised me as I rated less NT than before. I even did it with the thought in mind that I was not an aspie (so that I didn't accidentally over emphasize things) and still came up aspie.

I've had one psychologist say that I have Asperger's. But another that says that says I present as someone who is an Aspie, but she believes it is social anxiety and low self-esteem. So, I'm technically diagnosed but with a little of controversy about my diagnosis.

I can safely say, I was not expecting that.
And I can't seem to get the pic working

I dunno, I mean...I'm not diagnosed so I'm not sure if this quiz is seriously biased towards one over the other because no one's ever even considered that I was (including myself) despite some serious OCD, social anxiety, rituals, etc. etc. People just think I have an incredibly obsessive personality, haha. I want to know if anyone has friends who are obviously not aspies and have scored as such? The one thing that made me look into it was when my Mom, who's a Montessori teacher, mentioned how some children with Asperger's like to walk around on their toes and I remembered doing that my entire childhood whenever I was barefoot.

Yeah, makes sense. I seem to be just slightly in favor of Aspie, especially when pressure hits. I can appear normal just long enough to make it a few months in with jobs and such, and I was fine in school, but I start struggling the more NT and upfront I am expected to be.
