Sopho

I'll tell you a story . I have had boyfreinds over the years but none of them stuck for long . I gave up hope of ever finding that special someone and was quite happily single .
Then a couple of years ago I was quite Ill and needed to go to hospital for an operation. I was in a chat room the night before bemoaning the fact that I had no one to go to the hospital with me , and with my past history of panic attacks, agrophobia and running away from hospital appointments i didnt much fancy my chances of getting to the appointment . A stranger , a man whom I had never met offered to accompany me to the hospital the next day , I accepted and several hours later he turned up on my doorstep , we stayed up all night , I was manic , and we drunk and danced the night away to a very old BOn Jovi tape . The next morning he escorted me to the hospital , he was there when i woke up from the anesthetic , but as was my usual I managed to escape using my usual devious methods and within 15 minutes of waking up from the anesthetic i was out the front door of the hospital , with this man following swiftly behind .
I collapsed , my blood pressure crashed and i nearly died , he got help and along with a nurse carried me to a stretcher and went with me back to the ward . He stayed with me for a week , took care of my children and my animals whilst i recovered .

He has never left , not even for one day and that was over 3 years ago now .

So never give up hope of finding that special person , because they truly can show up in the most unexpected places when you least expect it.

This is a small story, I warn you that I have no experience in this and that I did it just quickly. I even didn't check it after I wrote it so I'm sorry if it doesn't make to much sense.

-
Once upon a time there was a young girl, a good looking but very shy girl, she felt alone in the planet, she observed other people happiness, couples, friends, families walking on the streets wondering why she is different, why she doesn't have anyone,

She loved cats, she thought cats were better than humans and more loyal, one day she heard something on the door, when she opened to see there was a small baby cat who looked so lovely and cute, she decided to take care of it, she is alone like me she thought, I am going to take care of her, days and a couple of years went on

The cat wanted to get out desperately, it was raining outside with big thunders, the cat finally got out, the young lady got outside looking for the cat, walking on the street being all wet because of the rain, then she heard something. There was the cat, all wet and there was a group of other cats in there with strange looking eyes, glowing eyes, probably a normal person will be scared but this lady wasn't.

The young girl was all soaked with surprised in her face to see all these strange cats staring at her, she came close to grab her cat and all of them jump right at her. She felt she was being attack, wondering why cats attacked her if she loved them so much.

After she opened her eyes she noticed something very weird, she was seeing things differently, it was a little dark because of the rain but she was seeing things more clearly, more bright, even thought it was still raining, a couple of people came by and were talking about something, it was weird to the young girl that she couldn't understand any word they were talking about, like speaking in a strange language with strange noises. What is this. Then a cat came close and started to talk to her, what? a speaking cat? I am delirious, it started to lick all her face and she felt a strange sensation never felt before. She thought she was dreaming. Suddenly she realized she became a cat. All her cat friends were all joyful playing and being happy that a lonely cat was rescued, she wasn't suppoused to be human.

There ya go. It sounds a little like the ugly duckling lol

Neat story Natty!

Sopho, I don't know if this is the best site of it's type or not, but http://www.okaycupid.com is a free basically "dating" site (you can also specify friends, etc.). I have no idea if there are better sites out there, but it does have a lot of nice features, and...FREE!

Of course be careful if you do talk to someone on there, since you never know...

I've had a profile on there for a year or so, but I'm usually too chicken to actually respond to anyone who writes to me  'Cause I'm like that. I don't know what to say, and I assume if they get to know me they won't like me.
