14.

There are dinos with s? I only know T-REX. I always hated dinos as a kid (not anymore).

I just dont see this as an executive function test. Some aspies may even have animals as a special interest.

I have clinical executive dysfunction and this doesn't begin to measure executive dysfunction sorry. Although exercises like this are in it, it is vastly simplistic just to put one. The test I did lasted a good part of the day. It is only after extensive testing can you say that other things like dyslexia are unlikely. I say unlikely rather then ruled out altogether, because you just can't be that conclusive.

Executive is a huge area. It is the main hub of processing in the brain, the control centre.

One of the traits of executive dysfunction is you tend to get flagged on a whole load of other tests. For instance I scored very poorly on the face recognition test. But even the makers of that test admit that there are other reasons why you would score badly. In really My facial recognition is no where near as bad as the test suggests. The reason why I scored badly is almost certainly executive dysfunction.

I got 4. How do you get officially tested for this? I read an article that said people with my dx have problems with this.

And I thought I was the first to get shellfish :P

Alas, that's the only one I could think of, but I already knew that my executive system was screwy.

Cade that sounds like me too... I first tried this on myself with "B" and got 5 in two minutes, just got stuck going 'bear bee bear bee... bear bear ben! Then I was thinking of "Ben" which was interesting b/c it's not quite right, but yeah anyway, I try to slip around it and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't...

I have to stop myself. Think "bear" and then I start thinking "bears live here, eat that, do this, etc"... going through the available information under 'bear'.

What are your other tricks? Do share please!

How old are you? There USE to be a series called "gentle ben". It was about gentle ben, who was a bear!

I got four:

Squirrel
Salamander
Sow
Squid

But I'm not sure if "Sow" would count. Really pathetic when I saw other lists an all the animals I forgot! I kept thinking "there seems like there's something in the sea that starts with "s", but dolphin dosen't. Hmm, neither does whale". And then my timer buzzed.

I supposedly don't have Executive Disfunction (although I guess some tests said I did when I was screened, so who knows).
