From another forum...

Poster #1: The historicity of Jesus' fulfillment of old testament prophecy is evidence.
Poster #2: Only through contorted and out of context readings. Further it is obvious that the NT writers were attempting to fulfill prophesy. For example, Matthew in his exuberance, misreads the OT and has Jesus riding on a donkey AND her colt at the same time!

I read that as 'Neurotypical writers' first. :P

Cool! I had to reread the post 3 times to find out what NT could mean if not Neurotypical, hahaha.

.... spend the whole day store jumping buying everything/anything you've needed for the past 3 months you've been a hermit. Meanwhile while walking through the store every cute girl you come across stops to smile at you - not understanding the proper response you do the same undignified big-teeth showing smile in their direction defeating all hopes of ever talking to her since she is striding like a football player in the opposite direction of you?

Greentea, what a mind.

It's Aspie cool to ...

... bob you hear to the elevator music.

... sing along to the song you know while grocery shopping.

... not care that other people are watching (while doing said above) even when your NT family threatens pain of death if you do not stop.

... not caring what other people think (because you're in your own head anyway).

oh definitely not just you. My boyfriend's grandfather buys me one of those minute phones or whatever they call them... the on the go ones with minute cards, probably once every 2 months. I always lose the thing within the first week or 2 because I never touch the thing.

I bought a CD a while ago, which I have listened to a lot.

I later, while googling, found a music review of the CD, and they said that no normal human being would endure listening through the whole CD in one go.

I've lost track of how many times I've done just that. :D

It's Aspie-cool to:
-Toe-walk wherever you go.
-Eat the same thing for lunch every day in the same order.
-Only go on vacations related to one's special interest(s).

Some excellent ones suggested so far! How about:

to know Pi to at least 10 decimal places.
to be able to often correct your teacher. When you are 7 years old.
to have no idea what is so *wrong* about a 7 year old correcting their teacher.
to know the geographical position, capital and flag of every country in the world - without having visited any of them (except one...)

Go walking around reciting various pieces of dialogue from a multitude of films merely disregarding how others look at you as being very eccentric..Hell, I've done this for years and to me, I find it a means of not merely showing my autistic qualities but, being unique conversation-wise.After all when is the last time you were in a conversation with someone where you felt it was more like a sit-com or such, in a good way that is???
