Have you ever considered going on GFCF diet

Since you didn't post the ref, I can't check whethe ryou're right, but even if you are, there are many other reasons why people may have trouble digesting gluten/casein. Celiac disease for example, which is far more common than mercury poisoning. Even if an autistic happens to have an intolerance for gluten/casein, it shouldn't ring an alarm for mercury poisoning if no other symptoms of mercury toxicity are present.
