Red haired and golden eyed. Like the Urangutang of the great ape line, which shows the same colors, but as an offshoot of Homo Erectus, so little body hair.
It is but one trace showing a mix. The larger brain is easier to trace, and the early moderns who went north had smaller brains, then suddenly, Cro Magnon, still the largest of all time.
Eye color, most on earth have dark brown, blue is a mutation, Lusistic, but green and hazel can only come from mixing in gold.
Even after 35,000 years, humans have only the genes they started with.
What is more telling are the complex ideas that show up just as the two mix. In the north with herd migrations, knowing what time it was was important. The first calenders show up then.
Where the bulk of humans continued life as hunter gathers in a small area, finding food one day at a time, the Neanderthal could fill an ice cave with meat in a single hunt as a herd passed, so they would want to know when it would pass.
The farther north you go the more the year changes, the farther south the less. So a sense of time, of counting the moons in a year, would be a northern thing.
A highly developed sense of time is one of the savant skills often found in ASDs.
In the first mixed generation 1/4 would have the coloration of each parent, and the other half a blend.
Mental skills would also be mixed, it still comes out 100%.
Remixing this limited gene pool, some traits will get a double dose.
I have heard of people in Eastern Europe who have golden eyes, but not that they have red hair.
Another group in the Altai Mountains have a revered leadership group with red hair, and green or gray eyes. Gengis Khan's mother was said to be one.
The color is only one trace, the mind another, and savant skills come from somewhere.
This may also have something to do with coodination, a mis match of brain and body wiring.
Hand flapping, tics, stims, are crossed signals.
When I think of doing something, often my hands make partial moves, arms, and the body alines with the thought. Martial Arts use this. Doing moves in parts, then all together, then with speed, then with force.
I was considered an awkward child, till I bought a motorcycle at fifteen, and I fit that bike.
When I carve wood I follow the curve with my eye, as my hand follows with the tool, above the work, then make the cut. In the practice move my whole body shifts, the weight, my feet, it is all a dance step, then I do the dance.
I visualize mechanics the same way, and gather the tools needed for the vision, and by the time I do it, I have done it several times. It is also great for trouble shooting, visually going through a system till something stands out as not being right.
Other people can do mechanics, but do not see the whole system. I have been often call on when nothing else worked to define the problem.
It was late in life when I learned this was called Autism. Looking at the whole system I find that a useless word. I have superior mechanical skills.
Recent advances in Education show that Kinitic learners are like me. When I was in school I was told to quit figgiting, to remain still.
The best minds of my time said I was a spastic ret*d.
Now they say I am an Autistic Kinitic Learner, so where do you park your car Psychobabble Boy?
In the whole system of being human, many traits can be mapped, and each does have to be learned to make the fullest use of it.
I identify with many on WP, called disabled by superior skills. There are limits, so far, none can fly, or become invisable. What they exhibit are human skills.
At the worst, some of the people around here are defective, they are mearly normal in some things.
I can see why normal tone deaf people think those with perfect pitch must have sold their soul to the devil. Psychology labels them Tonal Extreamist Terrorists, and suggests voice box removal, or novocane injections to make them normal.
They remind me of my auto customers. When I tuned up their almost dead engine, for they will run it till it fails, made it perform to factory standards, run like new, they came back and accused me of doing something to their brakes, for it did not stop as fast as it used to.
WP has made more progress in understanding working Neurology than all of Science. We are on our own here, none can think as we do, see as we do, except the people of Wrong Planet.
I do not see a strong connection between skulls, color, as I do with superior human skills. Defining them, as most do not have and hence are not wired to understand, learning to use them, for it does not come natural in a normal world.
I would like to see a genetic search among those who do exhibit superior skills.
The whole study of the Human Genome has been to find defects and erase them.
With a study of superior skills, those can be joined over a few generations.
We can breed a race of Super Aspies.
I think this is the root of the normal fear of superior skills, they are feeling Homo Erectus.
