I think that what Alex is trying to do is good for the site and other people. Afterall, wasn't this Alex's goal, to have a cool place for any aspie to talk with other aspies and be able to be accepted into at least one group? I think that to make the site better is always good, and with that you need money. And to hire people with this type of expertise takes money, because their time eventually equals money, as well as a little bandwith (eventhough it's not a huge percentage of the cost). To tell the truth, I think the reason why people keep coming back and more members keep being added to WrongPlanet is because of the quality of the site, and that this site (unlike many other Asperger's websites) has almost all their posts answered, has way more people to talk to, and it's a really cool environment. I think that if you spend this much time to make this site and keep it going, not to mention spending money coming from your own pocket, that it should deserve to look nice and be better. So, my compliments to those who take the time to create someplace where I could talk to other aspies. It's cool coming here afterschool everyday for a few minutes and know that there are other aspies to talk to, instead of the "I'm the only one" mentality. I think it's awesome that we could become members for free, and get all this really cool stuff, instead of having to pay some sort of membership fee to become a member of WrongPlanet.
