Most prostitutes in this country are East European teens smuggled into Norway and forced to prostitute themselves and I have no intention of supporting organized crime.
I think that in some countries, the female ideal is to look for a husband or a long-time partner, while one-night stands are believed to be pornographic and perverted.

I don't feel the need for a dating site either, lonermutant, but thats no reason to slam the idea. It's pure brilliance.

Personally I don't think you should start charging anyone anything until you have confirmed that a couple has actually managed to hook up together through this site... until you have confirmed that your service is actually fulfilling its intended function.

It is your site of course, but that is my opinion.

I agree with this sentiment you are really defeating the purpose of the site by charging people. Myspace is probably one of the biggest and best dating sites out there(I've met quite a few girls off there) and yet it's free.

Quite frankly, I think this site is pointless members can just as easily meet right on here on the forums, as some have already have.

A year ago? Isn't Aspie Affection (hereafter AA) less than a month old, which would mean it didn't even exist on June 26, 2005? I think it's better to correct this, since it would be false advertising. If AA is open to the public, some members might catch on to this, and the owner(s) could get in trouble for posting the "success story". In addition, on the same page, it says that AA has only 33 members. Now it does not look for good for a site that's allegedly over a year old to have so few members. So I strongly recommend to remove the Success Stories section for the time being.

It is free. Gold account just means you get some extra features like the ability to add up to twenty pictures instead of just a couple.

Since the site is for Aspies, you may want to add some Aspie type interested to the check boxes. For instance, some things like Si-Fi, reading, computers, that type of thing. The check boxes have many of the typical "average" interests out there, but I found that there was not a lot I could check! I ended up explaining my interests in the dialogue box, but of course, that won't be searchable.
