Awwww... Nice beardie! She must be pretty calm.. I'd never be able to get clothing on my Tegu or either of my Geckos like that...

I've handled her religiously since I first got her as a tiny baby. She gets upset if she is NOT handled. She'll bang her nose on the cage until I get her out. She likes to be cuddled. She's been exposed to dogs and my cat since she was a baby and isn't scared of them at all. If they get in her face to sniff her, she will "kiss" them and sometimes they kiss her back. I've only seen her beard ONCE and I really think she thought she was trying to protect me. She was sitting on my lap or on the car dashboard and my mom has these really big dark sunglasses on, Pippin puffed out her beard and LUNGED at her. My mom screamed and had to pullover. I think it's because Pippin didn't reqonize her. I've socialized Pippin religiously and she is like a "security blanket" to me. She helps keep me calm and take people's attention off my "invisible kick me sign". I wish I could get her registered as an offical service animal but people are so "reptist" (I word I invented to decribe people who are prejudice against reptiles) so I just have to smuggle her into places she's not allowed to go. I'm planing to write a children's book or two about her.

Eirun, your cats are gorgeous!

I had cats as a special interest a few years ago.
Now my biggest interest is books, I think.

It was all about cats and dogs when I was about eight or such. I could memorise vital statistics of many breeds. Now I can't remember a thing!

Hehe. think that is rather usual when you change your interest. When I was a kid I loved space. I had books that I read alot in, learned all about the space, could count up all the planets and their moons etc. I dont remember much of that today.

The business of television and sports
Dogs, breeds of
Astronomy, especially the solar system
Electronic and experimental music

My special interest (as you could probably tell from my name) is Software Development, Website Design, and mainly just programming in general. I love all things technology aswell as listening to Music whilst programming at ridiculous hours of the morning :)

And aliens, Dulce, New Mexico. I can't see myself going all Dib or Gary Mckinnon about them though. I just like to read about them but meerkats and my zoology intrests reign surpreme and the aliens are begining to bore me.

Oh, I wrote "Eirun, you're cats are gorgeous!". I ment: Eirun, your cats are gorgeous!
What a mistake..... Sorry!

I can tell you about special interest I've had (I still like those things, but not so intensive):
- birds.
- wolves.
- photography.
- the Swedish language.
- dogs.
- cats.
- healthy food.
- rabbits/bunnies.
- nature.
- writing.

Yay another swede! :D

My real name is connected to wolves so I had them as a huge interest as a child, and always adored them. I still do. That they decided to shoot several here in Sweden is insane!! (Since we dont have that many..)

Completely unrelated...but Eirun...your avatar could be a photo of my dear Devon Rex Cat William, who died just before Christmas. I like the avatar very much. He was a magnificent cat and I miss him terribly. Great to see the pic.

My mother has 2 rooms of her house full of I love Lucy memorabilia and has traveled to both of the museums and to her star in Hollywood.
