Did you relate to other children as a child?

No, I didn't understand them. I didn't get the point of their games. Now, when I am around grade school children, unless the child is similar to how I was (which they usually aren't), I have that same feeling of being lost and just not "getting it." I don't know how to relate to them or play with them because they don't play the way that I did when I was their age.

But I did have one close friend for a while, in elementary school. Not sure how that happened.

No. Other children were like aliens to me as a kid. Adults were aliens too but I understood them better. I perfered to dictate the activity or be alone if I couldn't.

No, I never related to other children. I didn't understand why they said things they did not mean or played games. I think I also resented them because I never felt carefree. I always felt like an outsider.
