Being shod topic

If i find a really good pair(andI buy mine second hand) I war them until they fall off.

Finding a good pair brand new would be great. I would get a few pairs and I could have the same shoes for years. I might try this strategy if I could persuade myself to splurge a bit. :P

My current shoes are Merrills with the woven top. I have had them what - 5-6 years at least. My ORIGINAL pair is starting to show signs of age, but still going strong. . I have a new pair waiting to take over.

They are light, easy, comfortable, and incredibly long lasting - I have older shoes, but I have not worn them for years.

My work shoes last about a year and a half and they are Dr Scholl work shoes and for casual wear shoes I like Vans or Fallen skater style shoes with flat soles for my balance issues and I have many pairs so they will last a fairly long time.

I kinda have small feet compared to others my age, so mine last 2 years or more.

My longest wearing shoes lasted for five years before the backs gave out. The bottom of the heel wears out sooner, since my feet drag and scuff if I'm not actually concentrating on walking.
