Usually I don't invite anybody to my apartment. I have one or two guests at a time on no special occasions few times a year. I'm glad to have guests whom I like. I celebrate birthdays, Christmas, Easter with my most immediate family: mom, dad, and my twin sister. If my parents invite their close friends or relatives to a little party usually I'm there too, but not always.

I don't even try to invite people over anymore. Nobody came.

No, I don't. I value my privacy at home.

No. Sometimes people invite themselves, and then I have to keep them out. One of the things I hate the most is when people invite themselves on my birthday.

The only people who come to my home is my mum (rarely) and my CPN (too often). If anyone else knocks on the door I hide, I used to hide in the cupboard under the stairs when I had one.

My sister once turned up unexpectedly, I hadn't seen her for several years, and she lived hundreds of miles from me. She was 7 months pregnant and desperate for the toilet. I had a complete breakdown, and I wouldn't let her in for about half an hour while she tried to persuade me through the letter box.

Me too. I've had meltdowns in the past when people would show up without calling. I still hate when people do that. I like to be able to mentally prepare myself for people coming over to my house.

Same. My SO has learned not to pull the "Oh, by the way, ____ will be here in about 5 minutes." I don't like having people here at all, but if it's going to happen, I need plenty of notice.

I don't invite people home. It's the other way around.

No, I don't often invite people over to my home. I get worried that I will need to be alone and they won't leave. Also I get very anxious about tidying up my home beforehand.

I also don't know many people well enough to invite. Even the few people I know, I would be scared that I wouldn't have anything to talk to them about, or they would find me odd or boring. Or that they wouldn't want to come.

Yeah but only if they're close friends or if I'm shooting for a short film for film class.
Otherwise, hell no. And if they do, I never let them in my room because they'd be touching everything.
