I've never really toe walked. I don't like the feeling on my toes.

But I do like jumping and running when going places. If I were allowed to run everywhere without the danger of bumping into people or things, I would. Jumping is also fun just cause its jumping. Both of them are like an energy release.

When I was younger, I'd also go up stairs on all fours. I grew out of it without thinking about it, though.

Lots of years old threads popping up this weekend, but I'll bite...

I used to toe walk as a child, in the sense that the balls of my feet would touch the floor first, followed by my heels, as opposed to heels first as is "normal". I was trained out of it around 10-11 but I do often revert when I have no shoes on.

..Clop , clop , heel toe , heel toe , like that ~ if not kind of counting my # of steps . Very " correct " .
With my horrible foot infections , I basically walk barefoot , at least , extremely very little . " Walking " , none , really .
Though I've been non-homeless toenought o be in a nursing home/physical rehab place ~ I'm considered to have a more-dangerous-to-others staph infection .

I never thought much of it until recently, but I've been toe walking since I was a kid. Only occasionally, though.

I don't like the sensation of my full foot being on the floor, especially when I'm barefoot. It doesn't feel right. Toe walking does.

My friends make fun of me because I always keep my shoes on when I go into their houses. I'll keep my shoes on all day right up until I go to bed and I wear socks literally all the time except when I'm in the shower. I've always wondered why I did this since other people seem to be inclined to take their shoes and socks off at every available opportunity but the more I think about it the more it seems like a mechanism to keep myself from walking on my toes because when I'm barefoot I always toe walk. With socks, it's less frequent, but still happens, and with shoes, it only happens once in a great while. Other people don't walk like that so I try not to. But it just happens naturally and I don't even notice that I'm doing it.

I don't remember if I did as a kid. I don't think I did, not much at least. I do now if I don't have shoes or slippers on. The feeling of the floor bothers me.

I LOVE high heels and have worn them since I was a kid. I never found them uncomfortable, and I think a huge part of why is because they're basically shoes that you can always toe-walk in! :D

I always go up stairs on my toes, and I have my whole life. It just feels weird any other way.

I've always walked on the balls of my feet when not wearing shoes. I thought it was just one of my quirks.
