I collect little tech gadgets. Most of them are crappy quality and half of them work like their supposed to. But I love having them around just to tinker with whenever I have time.

I also collect ticket stubs, CDs, DVDs, books, interesting bottles, things for foreign countries, etc.

Often times I collect such a mass of things, I never have enough time to go through them and they sit unused. I keep telling myself I'll get to it, and never do.

As for a reason behind the collecting, I just like to have interesting things around me even if they serve no purpose besides knowing I have them.

Yes. I have a lot of books, porcelain dolls, key chains, and a few other collections. That's just the physical collections, too.

I also collect pictures from the internet. Which ones I collect depends on my interests at the time. Right now, it's spiders and space pictures.

I have collected a lot of things. Books, mainly language books, the lasrgest and longest.

Why?

Because they are interesting

Because they are useful

Because I can classify them

Because that is what I do

Because I can't help myself.

And in the final analysis:

Because.

Books, lots of them. Computers, Sci Fi, Fantasy, Science, Text Books, and whatever my current interest happens to be

DVDs. Sci Fi, 60's TV shows, and whatever happens to catch my fancy at the moment

CDs, now mostly transferred to mp3s

Old computers parts, cables, dead disk drives

Travel souvenirs

Left over items from whatever my interest of the month was
