Yes, it was a bit difficult to read and I'll have to admit, I did not get through it all. I agree with some of it.

I have a difficult time agreeing with counselors about bullying, my main instinct being to pulverize a bully even if I get injured or killed in the process, but the assimilation that is preached in schools really gets on my nerves. The old line about "Life is a game and this is how it is played". You know, the teaching that we all have our niche and we must find it because social groups provide protection. I reject that model because it reduces humans to animalistic behavior and tribalism. I think we can do better.

(Is this a rant or an appropriate response? I'm not sure!)

Well, certainly bullies never show any compunction or restraint by any rules of engagement ever fobbed off on their targets! And short of finally just going postal, I'm still waiting for anyone to respond to my actual CliqueBusters proposal.

I'm sorry, but could you please rephrase the original CliqueBusters proposal. (please use plain, little words; I'm suffering from "brain fog" today!)

I cannot rephrase or clarify with no specific feedback about what exactly is unclear nor why.

let me try.

AaronAgassi:

what is cliquebusters.

what do you propose?

as I said before, your webpage is unreadable - so you writing "asked and answered" is unhelpful

asked what? answered what?

what kind of response to nothing were you expecting?

The color scheme is addressed first thing at the top of the page. And you still do not point out ant specific ambeguities in my text.

Ok now you're beginning to seem thick, stupid even.

You can't seriously expect me to address points on a webpage that I have told you that I can't read. I've been quite specific about why I can't read it.

Did it occur to you that different browsers, graphics cards and monitor combinations render pages differently, so something that looks good in Safari on an apple might look crap in IE on a PC or vice versa? Not to mention problems with personal colour perception variations, an extreme form of which is colour blindness.

It is very aspie and also very rude of you to insist that I should have the same point of view as you on this matter. In fact this is also what bullies do. Insist on their way only.

Actually, at one point I did try to get feedback on just such variance. But that can be like pulling teeth! However the site is clearly supported only for IE on a PC, broadband. Such, alas, are my limitations.

Now you are really asking too much.

Now you are just putting words in my mouth.

Not everyone who does not accommodate you is thereby a bully.

It's fine to disagree with me, you're not the first, you won't be the last.

But you have not answered anything as far as I can tell. Insisting that you have, that's what I see as akin (but not identical) to what a bully does.

You won't get any answers that you seek so long as you refuse to put the question in a way that we can read or understand. Some of us would love to help you out but we can't figure out what you are on about.

Hence a certain amount of frustration among some contributors including me.

I believe in simple solutions to simple problems. If you can't read text due to a strange background: select it, copy, paste into the text processing program of your choice, and then read ;)

Wobbegong, I do address the reoccurring question of color scheme right at the top of my CliqueNusters page. You can swear it's not there, but it is. Nor can I rephrase questions without specific explanation why each one isn't clear in the first place.

DrizzleMan, indeed, there is no way that standards catering to every conceivable variation of colorblindness etc. will ever be universally adopted. And so, it will likely remain incumbent upon Wobbegong to put into practice whatever basic adaptations needful. There are also simple digital magnifying glass widgets and the like, in case any such might also help.
