do other Aspies dislike games?
I don't like most games. As a child I liked quite a few computer games, but I rarely play computer games any more (though there are some that I think I would still enjoy). The games I like are mostly word games and a few strategy games. There are some games that I don't really enjoy but don't mind playing. I kind of like trivia games but there are major classes of trivia that I am extremely ignorant about and have no interest in (basically anything having to do with pop culture such as TV, movies, or music), and the commonness of those kinds of trivia questions makes trivia games less fun.
I find most games either boring or stressful, including most board games, most card games, and some strategy games. The stress comes when I end up caring too much about whether I win or lose. Feeling competitive is unpleasant to me. In the games I like, I enjoy the play even when I'm not doing well.
Lately I've started telling people "I'm bad at liking games". I wish I liked more games - it would be useful in social situations.
I'm not sure it's particularly closely related to being autistic, though. I've known someone who dislikes almost all games who I believe is not autistic (though I mostly knew this person before I knew much about autism, so I'm basing my guess on memory). And there are lots of autistic people who like games.

Now convinced that I'm a bit autistic, but still unsure if I'd qualify for a diagnosis, since it causes me few problems. Apparently people who are familiar with the autism spectrum can readily spot that I'm a bit autistic, though.
