Hi

I too have felt different all my life and never 'fitted in' but I always thought it was because everyone ELSE was weird. It never once crossed my mind that I was the exception to the norm.

After reading about AS a couple of years ago, I realised I have all the symptoms and my whole perspective on life has changed...

this is EXACTLY my experience as well. I found out about AS on the internet, and kept thinking it sounded "close, but.........." and then I saw some guy on youtube going into detail about it and then it started to dawn on me, that this is sounding like a real possibility... so after reading some books and a lot of posts on here, I had to finally conclude, that the people on this site are the first people in my entire life that know and understand the way I think.... and I had to conclude that I have AS and I most likely got it from my birthmother
