This video is just disgraceful to the autistic community.

Lol.

Well, to you're dismay, I am capable of loving everyone, believe it or not. Why wouldn't I be able to love every person out there? Because i'm slightly autistic? That's BS. Sure, I may not like people, or may not know them personally, or I might not even like the things they may do, But Everyone has a genuine and caring side to them. It may be harder for others to show it, but trust me, it's there.

That is what I look for. And that is what matters the most.

Yeah totes dismayed, man. Though I never implied people with autism weren't capable of loving other people. For the record.

PS: What about people with ASPD?

I never said you were implying that. I'm sorry I made it appear that way. It's just that a lot of people believe that most people with an ASD aren't capable of loving other people, or feeling other's emotions, etc. Which isn't true at all.

And as for people with ASPD, I'm not Dr. phil, so I'm not sure how I can answer that one for you.

But I do know a thing or two about a thing or two. I'm just trying to help everyone who needs a hand at the moment.

All I want from her is that she treat her children compassionately, and not rhapsodize about killing herself or either of them.

.. are we talking about the same thing here?

Anyway, if this Autism Speaks video is a bit old, what are they like now?

Didn't you ask about ASPD?

I had no idea this was an older video, but when I watched it for the first time it really got to me.

And I'd like to know myself what they are like now. I think i'd be interesting to find out...but i'm not going to go crazy over it. Ya know?

I was talking about anti-social personality disorder. I wasn't sure exactly what your response was supposed to mean.

Oh, I just said that I wasn't too sure how to answer your question about ASPD. Why? What's up doc?

Right, that would be the most rational thing to do. But, some people just aren't all the way there in the head, as with the mother's case obviously. lol Crazy right?

Yeah it sucks when it happens. Mine are similar.

What I was getting at is people with ASPD don't really have any kindness or compassion.. They just aren't very loveable once you realise what they are.

Well, they may not be able to show how they feel, i.e. kindness, compassion, pain, etc. But the feelings are there inside, and they are there. Some people just aren't able to show them the way they should or are supposed to, but they certainly do show emotions in their own ways, and i'm sure whatever those ways are, they mean well by them, even if we as a society don't find those ways acceptable or "Normal".

I hope that helped somewhat?

Not particularly. They don't have kindness or compassion. They are totally selfish and they often abuse people to get what they want. The part of the brain that says 'compassion' doesn't work in these people.

Anyway, it's completely off-topic, so...
