WHOA.

I got 6 out of 30 and was "familiar" with 28 of them.

Halfway through and I just started cracking up as I was clicking "Don't know, don't know, don't know"... I didn't recognise Tony Blair without hairstyle (I am British), nor George Bush, nor Bill Clinton (though I did for some reason get both Princess Diana and Margaret Thatcher... I think the former because I recognised the specific photograph they used).

And my family didn't believe me last year when I said I thought I had face-blindness!

Evidently the only reason I don't have more hilarious mistaken-identity mishaps in real life is because I avoid making friends in real life XD

No offence to politicians but I find politician's faces are usually much easier to remember than actors or usually anybody else for that matter because they are generally much MUCH uglier. Especially the fat old guys. Many of the men like Dennis Healey, John Howard, Robert Menzies have this thing about their eyebrows. Just like the old shag pile carpet about the eyes look and I just feel there must be some big reward like and expensive gold watch at the end of their political carreers to the politician who retires with the shaggiest and ugliest eyebrows in the house so they dare not trim the back under any circumstances.

Is faceblindness a requirement for AS? Because I have most of the other classic AS traits yet I consider myself pretty good at recognizing faces. Or at least I think I do - I haven't taken the test yet.
No--not a requirement at all, just a common comorbid condition.

You know, when I said "comorbid condition" I made it sound like it's some horrible disease or something... Face-blindness isn't a huge handicap; you usually learn to recognize people by voice, mannerism, clothes other clues... It's not any worse than being color blind, anyhow.

I got 86% on the famous faces test. I didn't get Condoleeza Rice (Because she's American and not on the telly very much, I guess.) And I thought some politician was Elvis.

(Either that or Elvis walks the earth again.)

That test seemed to go on forever.

I got 58% on the Cambridge test. I'm not too surprised. I'm not completely faceblind, but I'm not very good with faces either. I usually recognize people by their hairstyles - which is why I have such a hard time recognizing actors and actresses. They always change their hair from movie to movie...
