I hate talking on the phone. I have difficulty knowing when to speak, I often end up leaving long gaps in conversations or speaking over someone. And the other aspect which I dislike is the attempt by the person on the other end of the line to extend the conversation after necessary discussion of an issue has been completed. (I hate small talk)

I can do phone calls, but whenever possible I use texts or email.

I highly dislike the telemaphone.

Usually I'm like *phone rings* *thinking* Killab*tch!! "who is itttt!"
*sees it's bf" oh ok, it's him" *feelings of anger dissipate*
If it's anyone else I find it annoying.

99% of the time, if it's not family or bf, I just let the answering machine get it. Anyone who is worthy will leave a message.

Lately the phone is bothering more than usual because the phone line is messed up and it's crackling lately.

I hate phone calls. I only answer my phone to my direct family. I never know when it is my time to speak so I am normally pacing around the room listening to people gossiping and then every 15 minutes or so asking me if I am still there. My mum and nan get angry at me when I don't answer their house phone, but they can't understand that I hate it.

I find taking phone calls to be almost as nerve racking as talking in person. The only real difference is that there is no immature insistence on eye contact. I only have a cell phone for light web surfing away from home and for emergencies.

I feel like not answering them. I pretty much only answer if it's my mom (and I hate doing it then too) or something absolutely necessary (maybe). I never make calls myself, unless I have to make a doctor's appointment or something. Even then, I procrastinate doing it.

The thing I hate the most is when some relative calls and asks "What are you doing right now?" The question makes my stomach turn.

hahah yeah i hate that question but maybe not for the same reason. i hate it because it opens up the possibility of them wanting me to come over or wanting to know why im having fun when i could be at theirs or why im doing things they disapprove of and could get into trouble for. the other reason i hate it is because the real answer is "talking to you..."
i hate making calls. i plan and rehearse before i make them. when people call me i ignore it for as long as possible in the hopes that they will hang up and i'll be able to text them or pick up and be awkward.
