Anything that isn't too loud, except maybe nails on a chalkboard, or babies crying.

Funny thing is, I work at an airport, and the planes are so loud, I wear double ear protection, the in ear ones, and the headphone ones.

If I'm trying to sleep (my sleep is lousy, so most of the time) then nothing where I can discern the period of the sounds, like a ticking clock, or even my heartbeat. I have pulsatile tinnitus in one ear, too.

Air conditioner going or fan going helps me sleep. White noise, wind blowing as long as it ain't the sound that's too loud with all car windows down (if you know what I mean) just the gentle wind blowing, hearing my knuckles or my neck pop, rubbing my hands together the sound of it and feel of it calms me. I'll also flick a lighter repeatedly I like the sound of it and doing it over and over and watching the flame it calms me I know weird but I like the sound of the round thing and clicking pens. I also like the clicking sound from lighters that click and those light up spin globe ball fidget toys. Sorry if I'm a bit off topic I'm new to wrong planet.

My mummie singing, the sound of my keys, sewing machine sewing, rain hitting the window, my young cousins laughter...

I find nothing more soothing than rain falling, or thunder.
