Replying to the OP:
When people stare at me, it always creeped me out. It happened a lot when I was younger because I was young, pretty and thin with Ally McBeal short skirts that showed off my legs and business savvy long jackets that hid my flat butt. I would always feel like their time would be better spent talking to me so I could tell them I'm not interested and then they could ignore me. But so many men just stare at you like you're there just for that purpose. Ick. Getting stared at still creeps me out but that's because I'm a thirty-something married mom so I see no reason why I should be on anyone's radar, no matter how I look or what I'm wearing.

I don't like it when teenage girls stare at me. They never look at me at all when they're on their own, but when they're with others they try to make it really obvious that they're looking at me. I don't know if they do this to other young females. but if I actually caught them staring at other teenagers and young adults too, I would be fine about it. But because I haven't, all these paranoied thoughts in my head make me think that it's personal.
((They probably feel safer gawking at boys in a pack and you only notice when you're the subject of their momentary adoration. You're probably just cute and that catches their interest. These girls would probably never be that bold individually.)) <-- Scrap that. I figured out you're female, Joe90.
One thing that holds true about what I said is that these girls wouldn't have the stones to be obvious about their staring when they're by themselves. They could be doing this to you for several reason, both positive and negative. I would suggest rolling your eyes and ignoring it as best you can. This is still typical tacky teen behavior.
