The whole trying to enforce what to call someone is usually pedalled by angry advocates with a chip on their shoulder, trying to dictate to everyone what they should think or say.

I just ignore them.

Once upon a time it was. But that was before I realized that being autistic is fantastic! Which is why I always say, with a big cringy smile on my face, "I'm not autistic. I'm autASTIC!"

But for real, anyone using that as a dis this day and age is a serious aspie, so f**k you!

On some sites & forums the word Autism is kind of a slang word for Troll. There's posts with by mods that tell trolls to quit being autistic or that some posts were deleted for autism.
